In 2010, Corey joined the family business here in Petersburg with the 2011 growing season being his first with Stokes Seed. During this transition, the current warehouse along Highway 14 was built and seed treatment services were added. Corey has deep agronomic experience and continues to evolve the business to meet the needs of our customers. Similar to many family businesses, Tina provides supports as needed, which generally falls under IT support and evolving processes from pen and paper to digital formats.

Our son, Caden Stokes, has worked at the warehouse for the last four seasons. He is entering his second year at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, and will graduate with a degree in Agronomy. His current plan is to return to Petersburg and join the business full-time.
